After School Sports

The Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department sponsors and runs BIS sports programs. For information on registration, rosters or game schedules, please visit: www.burlingame.org/bissports. Create an account with Parks & Rec and sign up here.

Band and Choir

Both of these groups are offered as electives for all grades at BIS. (Part of the registration process when your student selects electives.) More information here.

Frisbee

BIS Lunchtime Ultimate Club

When: Thursdays and Fridays during 6th/7th grade lunch and 8th grade lunch

Where: Osberg Field, Far Bleachers

What: Fun, inclusive activity during lunch break. Students eat together on bleachers and then proceed to play games using a disc (frisbee)

Why: Fun! Ultimate and other disc activities are enjoyable, spirited, and great exercise

BID Ultimate Team

Players interested in playing Ultimate on a team would attend the lunchtime practices and after school practice (starts in Fall after P&R sports). Mr. Haas would coach these teams throughout the school year. If interested please email Mr. Haas at dhaas@burlingameschools.org

Performing Arts

BIS puts on a production in both the fall and spring. Your student will receive information about auditions through their teacher. More information here.

Student Council

Student Council includes representatives for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The members of the Student Council are representatives elected by their homerooms, and elections are held at the beginning of the school year.
